About the ProBook

ProBooks are practical, repairable business laptops. Most have memory slots and a replaceable SSD, which makes them good candidates for an upgrade as well as a repair.

Every repair starts with a free assessment and a fixed price. Nothing is done until you approve it, and repairs carry a 3-month warranty.

Screens

We replace cracked and faulty ProBook screens with a panel matched to the original size, resolution and connector.

Batteries

The battery sits inside the case and is held by screws. We fit the correct part number and check that it charges and reports properly.

Keyboards and trackpads

Depending on the model, the keyboard is replaced on its own or together with the palm rest. Trackpads are replaced separately.

Charging and power

Depending on the model, charging is through a DC socket or USB-C. Either port can be replaced, and charging circuits are repaired on the board.

Motherboard and liquid damage

No power, no display and liquid damage are repaired at component level wherever parts are available, instead of replacing the whole board.

Upgrades

Memory and storage are both accessible on most ProBook models, so SSD and RAM upgrades are straightforward.

Common questions

Can you repair several ProBook laptops for a business?

Yes. Tell us how many and what is wrong with each, and we arrange one collection. Company laptops are usually encrypted, so ask your IT department for the BitLocker recovery key first.

Will a repair affect the data or the company set-up?

No. We do not wipe or reinstall anything without asking. Most hardware repairs leave Windows and your files exactly as they were.
