What we collect

Enquiries. When you send the form we receive your name, email address, phone number if given, the device details and your message, together with the IP address and the time of sending.
Repairs. If you send us a device we also hold your address for collection and return, and a record of the work done.
Phone and email. We keep correspondence about your enquiry or repair.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to arrange collection and return, to carry out and guarantee the repair, and to keep the business records the law requires. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for marketing by third parties.

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, meeting legal obligations and our legitimate interest in running a repair service.

Who we share it with

Your name, address and phone number are passed to the courier that collects and returns your device. Our email and IT providers process messages on our behalf. We share information with others only where the law requires it.

Data on your device

We access the contents of a device only as far as is needed to diagnose, repair and test it, or to copy or recover files at your request. Copies made during a repair or recovery are deleted once the job is complete and you have confirmed you have your files.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a repair are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Repair records are kept for the warranty period and for as long as accounting and tax rules require.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google servers when a page loads. The enquiry form limits repeated submissions by keeping a short-lived record of the sending IP address.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it. Email info@creativeit.tv to make a request. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
