Games console repair and data recovery
PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and handheld gaming PCs, repaired at component level in our London workshop and collected by courier from anywhere in the UK.

Consoles are computers
Inside a console is a motherboard, a processor, storage, a power supply and a cooling system, much like a laptop. They fail in the same ways: ports are torn out, fans clog, power circuits burn and drives wear out. They are repaired the same way too, by finding the part that has failed and replacing it.
The difference is in the data. Most consoles encrypt their storage so that it can only be read by the console it came from. Where saves are not backed up to the cloud, getting them back usually means repairing the console itself, which is why repair and recovery are handled together here.

Before you send it
- Find the model number. It is on the label underneath or on the back, and each console page below shows what to look for.
- Tell us exactly what happens: lights, beeps, error codes, and what you were doing when it failed.
- If the console still starts, back up your saves to the cloud or a USB drive first.
- Take out discs and game cards.
