About the Galaxy Book Pro and Ultra
The Pro and Ultra models use AMOLED screens, which are replaced like for like. They are among the thinnest laptops made, with soldered memory. The Ultra adds dedicated graphics.
Every repair starts with a free assessment and a fixed price. Nothing is done until you approve it, and repairs carry a 3-month warranty.
Galaxy Book Pro and Ultra repairs
Screens
Many Galaxy Book Pro and Ultra models use OLED or high-resolution panels. We fit a like-for-like replacement, not a cheaper standard panel.
Batteries
The battery sits inside the case and is held by screws. We fit the correct part number and check that it charges and reports properly.
Keyboards and trackpads
The keyboard is fixed into the palm rest, so the two are replaced together as a top case. Trackpads are replaced separately.
Charging and power
These charge over USB-C. Worn or damaged ports are replaced on the board, and USB-C charging circuits are repaired at component level.
Motherboard and liquid damage
No power, no display and liquid damage are repaired at component level wherever parts are available, instead of replacing the whole board.
Upgrades
Memory is soldered on many Galaxy Book Pro and Ultra models, but the SSD is usually replaceable. We check your exact model before quoting.
Sending your Galaxy Book Pro and Ultra
The model code is printed on the base in small text, for example "NP750XED" or "NP960XFG". Send us that with a description of the fault and we reply with a price, normally the same working day.

Common questions
Can the memory or SSD be upgraded?
It depends on the exact model. Many thin laptops have soldered memory, and some have soldered storage too. Send us the model number and we will tell you what is possible.
Is the battery replaceable?
Yes. The battery is inside the case, but it can be replaced in the workshop with the correct part.
