About the MacBook Pro 15 and 16-inch
The 15 and 16-inch MacBook Pro carries dedicated graphics on Intel models, and those power circuits are a common board repair. The 16-inch A2141 replaced the butterfly keyboard with a more reliable design.
Every repair starts with a free assessment and a fixed price. Nothing is done until you approve it, and repairs carry a 3-month warranty.

Screens
MacBook displays are replaced as a complete lid assembly, which also renews the camera, hinges and display cable.
Batteries
The battery is glued into the chassis. We remove it safely, fit the correct replacement and always deal with a swollen battery first.
Keyboards and trackpads
MacBook keyboards are riveted into the top case. Depending on the model we replace the keyboard or the complete top case.
Charging and power
USB-C and MagSafe charging faults are traced on the logic board and repaired at component level.
Motherboard and liquid damage
No power, no display and liquid damage are repaired at component level wherever parts are available, instead of replacing the whole board.
Upgrades
On most of these models memory and storage are soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded. Recovering data depends on the board working.
Cooling
Fans and heatsinks are cleaned, thermal compound renewed and worn fans replaced. Performance laptops benefit most from regular cooling service.
Sending your MacBook Pro 15 and 16-inch
Turn the MacBook over. In small print near the hinge you will find "Model A" followed by four digits. Send us that with a description of the fault and we reply with a price, normally the same working day.

Are you an Apple Authorised Service Provider?
No. Creative IT is independent, with no affiliation to Apple. That allows us to repair logic boards at component level.
Can you get my files back if the MacBook will not turn on?
Often. On models with soldered storage the logic board has to be repaired far enough to release the data. See data recovery.
